Did it ever occur to you Critics of the President that he was and is much smarter than his opponants and Conservative critics and was timing his counter attack of the Liberal cacophany at the most effective time; that being when he had a number of victories, such as the excellent economy as a result of his policies, the good news from Iraq, etc. Besides, the vast majority of the citizens were not paying a whole lot of attention to politics during the "dog days of summer". Read a piece by Thomas Lifson of the American Thinker of a couple years ago, regarding Bush's MBA credentials and his prowess at poker. After the Dems laid down their six high straight, he cleaned up the pot with his full house.
